Anyway, I'm glad Hawking came to his senses eventually. I've always been firmly in the no information loss camp. It seems plainly obvious that if you have information loss then you aren't doing quantum mechanics because quantum mechanics is about unitary linear systems. But what do I know?

Hot off the press is Hawking's preprint on Black Hole Information Loss. Doesn't seem to contain much detail though.
